THE INSTITUTE

The Regional Institute of Sommellerie South of France is a collaborative project, ambitious since 2016, by various elected officials and stakeholders, including the Community of Communes of Cote Vermeille Illibéris and the Community of Communes of Aspres.

This collaborative project makes it possible to optimize and pool the resources made available to the French and international Sommellerie but also to the wine and wine industry and associates (import, export, sales, marketing, wine merchant, sector
hotel, catering, luxury, tourism and communication)

WELCOME TO THE THUIR CAMPUS

On its territory, close to Perpignan, the Thuir Campus has taken up residence in the legendary Caves Byrrh and has more than 500 m² of modern, cutting-edge sommelier facilities.
Thus, it allows future wine professionals to train in a center of excellence, alongside qualified speakers, all professionals in the sector, while being in complete immersion, at the foot of the largest oak barrel in the world.
